Hand-crafted original
The Lords of Semine were among the minor nobility of southern Bohemia; their heraldic device — a silver chevron on sable — appears on at least three extant shields in Czech museum collections. This reconstruction follows the visual specification of the KCD series.
Built to the same structural specification as the Skalitz Shield: plywood boards, linen face, chalk gesso. The chevron device is executed in silver leaf on a black mineral ground. The backing is natural linen, attached with period-correct adhesive. The shield is intended for display and light re-enactment use.
